A painting just wasn’t working so I slapped on a slick of fluorescent pink with a palette knife and spied out of the corner of my eyes of balloons burst by my grandchildren in a water balloon fight afternoon in our garden.

I squished them, the balloons, not the children and they became flowers!

The colours were perfect and so it began and evolved into this.

Hopefully it makes you smile as much of my colourful uplifting artwork is intended to do.
